Finetuned is a newsletter for beginning to intermediate writers. Whether you’re just getting started or have a publication credit in an article or short story and wish to continue learning and building your skills, you’re in the right place.
You can expect an article or two about various aspects of writing, a quick writing tip, as well as upcoming news from the arts community, including my own speaking or book events. From time to time, I have a guest post on some perspective in a fiction or nonfiction genre.
The newsletter comes out once a month, about mid-month. Names and emails collected will only be used for the distribution of this newsletter and perhaps one or two other greetings during the year.
Topics have included facing the blank page (a.k.a., writer’s block), organizing a writer’s critique group, learning to critique, writing in active and passive voice, developing your characters, writing memoir, and many others.
