For Your Writing Adventure
In this end-of-year newsletter, I offer online readers resources that speak to beginning writers. Writing is both venture and adventure because you never know exactly where it will take you. Other sources are refreshers for those who have been writing for years. Sometimes writers just need a reminder or encouragement when they hit a rough patch.
Here are six areas to consider:
- Find books that interest you and read!
- Identify your writing style.
- Study other writers. To do that you need to read!
- Consider starting with a paper notebook and pen
- Create a routine for yourself and write!
- Encourage young writers
Holiday Time
My family celebrates Christmas, and so I say Merry Christmas and celebrate a faith-based holiday. Some of my readers may have different occasions on their calendar at this time of year.
We’re all writers and come from different places and customs. We write because we have something to say and we want to do it well.
As we bid goodbye to 2024, I wish you good health, happiness, and success in your writing ventures.
Tune in for the New Year 2025 newsletters.
